Quite recently, this channel featured an interview with Salim Ismail on management changes, when artificial intelligence will prove to be a force difficult for human managers to ignore. I thought to myself, “Finally, about management by artificial managers!”. And I sat down with curiosity to watch.
And I was not mistaken. The gentlemen discuss what are the reasons that artificial intelligence will have to be used in management. One of them is the enormity of the information that is produced by humans (every two years the amount of information about the world that would potentially need to be analyzed when making various business decisions doubles). There is so much information that it is impossible to find it, understand it and process it into clear and comprehensible conclusions for humans. Not to mention making rational decisions….
Peter H. Diamandis even formulates a thesis that by the end of this decade there will be only two types of companies: those that will adopt artificial intelligence and base business management in AI, and those that will cease to exist.
Also included in the video is the following graphic, which talks about when artificial intelligence will surpass humans in all areas where we can talk about a particular type of intelligence.
And at this point in the film, I too have found the answer: between 2025 and 2029 there will be a robot manager that will surpass all human managers of all time. I put this thesis and I am sure that this is what will happen.
I would only add that in 2018 I received an opinion from a Polish economic university that replacing a human manager with an artificial manager will never be possible.
Anyone can be wrong, and this opinion already reminded me of the famous words of Charles Holland Duell, commissioner of the United States Patent Office, who in 1899 stated that: “Everything that was supposed to be invented has already been invented.”
Here we are in 2023, and there is really very little left….
