Olaf Flak (PhD, engineer)

Graduate of the University of Economics in Katowice (Management) and Silesian University of Technology (Electronics and Telecommunications). He gained professional experience at Ford Motor Company in Cologne and ING Bank Śląski. For 5 years he co-created the recruitment portal pracuj.pl. For 6 years he was Vice-Dean for Organization and Internationalization at the K. Kieslowski Film School (University of Silesia in Katowice), manager of the “Team Management Automation” project at the University of Siegen and the University of Lubeck, aimed at automating the work of a team manager and replacing him with a robot. Three-time scholarships of DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst, Research Stays for University Academics and Scientists) at the University of Siegen and the University of Lubeck. He specializes in project management, managerial techniques and tools, and human resource management.

Creator of online managerial tools on the transistorshead.com platform, aimed at monitoring manager’s work and determining their behavior patterns, then automating them and replacing the human manager with a robot manager. He is the author of the book called System of Organizational Terms. A methodological concept for the study of organizational reality [Flak, O. (2018). Układ wielkości organizacyjnych. Koncepcja metodologiczna badania rzeczywistości organizacyjnej. Katowice: University of Silesia Publishing House, pages 478, ISBN 978-83-226-3322-9], which is the methodological basis for automating the work of the manager and the team in management science. Associated with training and consulting for more than a dozen years. He conducts training in managerial techniques, management by objectives, team building, project management, enterprise reorganization, as well as consulting projects in the field of competency level assessment, job valuation, creation of employee evaluation and incentive systems, creation of career paths, Assessment/Development Center and development programs for employees and managers.
